Interfaces for Multi-User Multi-Touch
My focus on researching multi-touch devices is to study the interaction between the user and the device. More specifically, I'm interested in using the Adobe Flash Platform to develop multi-user applications for multi-touch devices.
Project Timeline:
- May 2009 - Preliminary literature review about multi-user multi-touch devices: A Literature Review of Leveraging the Capabilities of a Multi-touch Device to Promote Multi-user Collaboration - CGT 513 Interactive Multimedia Research & Development (Purdue University)
- October 2009 - Simulation of end-goal user-interface for multi-touch project made for a presentation at the 2009 Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles, CA.
- Februrary 2010 - Project Proposal approved
- April 2010 - User Testing Round 1 Part 1
- April 2010 - Provisional Patent obtained with the Purdue Research Foundation
- May 2010 - User Testing Round 2 Part 1
- June 2010 - Data Analysis
- July 2010 - Defense Presentation (passed)
- July 2010 - Semi-Finalist in Adobe Design Achievement Awards
